Brick masonry façade restoration consisted of through wall flashing induction (4,250 LF); sealant replacement; new expansion joints; retrofit wall ties (3,350 EA); selective tuck pointing; area based crack repair; individual brick replacement; shelf angle modifications; and curtain wall repairs. Access accomplished with the use of fixed scaffolding and manlifts. |

Complete reconstruction of two severely distressed projecting terra-cotta balconies consisted of field engineering, disassembly, repair of existing units (i.e. cracks, spalls, glazing), replacement of deteriorated soffit units, structural steel repairs, reassembly, concrete slab replacement/waterproofing, incidental brick repairs and final masonry cleaning. Access accomplished with fixed scaffolding. |

Façade restoration on upper floor of multi-story hospital wing consisted of wall demolition, installation of steel support angle, new moisture resistant sheathing, water barrier, wall ties, new brick masonry veneer, window head through wall flashing, new limestone headers, and reinstall coping complete with bed flashing and butt joint sealant. Access accomplished with swing stage equipment. |
