Scope of Work:

  Complete façade restoration of both sanctuary and chapel building wings. Work tasks consisted of the following repairs: stone masonry – tuck pointing, clean and seal; cast stone masonry – mass pointing, spall repairs, migratory corrosion inhibitor, consolidant, slurry coat, potassium silicate stain plus specialized replication; structural strengthening of bell tower – steel support framing and near surface reinforcing; roofing – slate removal/reinstallation and coping re-flashing; plus miscellaneous repairs – metal window repainting and spot sealant replacement. Access accomplished utilizing fixed scaffolding.

Scope of Work:

  Complete façade restoration of a historic 1859 church sanctuary consisted of paint stripping utilizing sponge jet blasting, spot stucco delamination repairs, window well/spiral stair reconstruction, through wall flashing at high/low roofs, coping anchorage, interior organ loft repairs, steeple repainting, wood window repairs, subgrade waterproofing and new trowel grade protective coating. Access accomplished through the use of fixed scaffolding. Sir Walter Raleigh Award issued for beautification of downtown scenic corridor.
